Biography

[From: Julia Weller 10-Sep-2012]

My Dad always told me that Stuart's father was paralyzed from the neck down by a fall off a ladder. Because he was the only boy he was close friends with my Dad and used to go on holiday with my father's family so I have a photo of them together when they were about five years old.

[From: Myra 9-Sep-2012]

Ronald Stuart Janes Senior was in fact a semi-invalid (in a wheelchair I think) and died at the age of 45 years old;  it was always question of much speculation as to what he had wrong with him, some people said he had a form of muscular dystrophy and others said the disability was due to a riding accident.
